ROLE DESCRIPTION

Location: Glassboro, NJ

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Receptionist is the face of Power’s Headquarters. The receptionist is the first interaction Power employees, guests and candidates have with the company. This role is multifaceted and requires adaptation and flexibility. This role relies heavily on being customer service oriented, and administratively strong.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviews and watches over schedules for appointments and interviews for HQ managers and departments.
  • Books conference rooms for meetings.
  • Assists Talent Acquisition with the interview process by greeting candidates, and helping candidates with the initial offer processes including following up on new hire paperwork.
  • Assists Human Resources Department with the new hire paperwork, preparing for and assisting with new hire orientation.
  • Places orders for business cards as needed.
  • Assist in managing the inventory of office supplies and HQ and Contact Center New Hire supplies.
  • Daily office sweeps/inspections to ensure common rooms are in order. 8.Credit card coding of delegated accounts for HR.
  • Actively communicate with relevant parties at HQ and satellite territories.
  • Manage security POC for access to, and the printing of, HQ ID badges. 11.Help facilitate the organization of the mail, and deliveries service. 12.Coordinate and contribute to in-person, telephonic or virtual HR Meetings. 13.Direct non-front desk related questions to the proper parties.
  • Assist in communication with outside vendors.
  • Work closely with the Facilities Department to organize front desk coverage and tasks that overlap with their department.

Must be a go-getter, be extremely organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks or requests simultaneously. Must be able to work well in a team environment, excel at research and be problem-solution focused. Must have strong written, verbal, and quantitative skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or technical school and relevant prior work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The receptionist works in an office environment in the corporate headquarters. This position is a 5 day per week in-office position.
