ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Marketing Communications team is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Copywriter to join our growing team. This individual must be able to capture the brand voice in a creative, engaging way that speaks to our customers, recruits, and employees.

As a Copywriter you will be responsible for the development and execution of branded materials. From our internal newsletter to event copy to consumer brochures, you’ll have the unique opportunity to impact the business in a variety of ways. All copy must be entertaining and educational while adhering to the objectives of the project and being grammatically accurate.

The Marketing Communications team is a group of highly creative individuals, including videographers, graphic designers, and content creators. It’s a fast paced, fun environment that challenges you to step outside your comfort zone.

Primary Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Attend concept meetings with the creative team and agency partners to execute on our brand vision and material positioning.
  • Write and edit internal communications materials including quarterly newsletters, monthly staff emails, staff bios, and onboarding and training tools.
  • Write and edit external communications materials including sales, marketing, and operations collateral, website copy, social media channel postings, press releases, blogs, and consumer media.
  • Develop copy concepts for recruitment advertising and job boards.
  • Develop copy concepts for internal event marketing including invitations, letters, and branded creative.
  • Work with the video team on storyboarding and voiceover scripting.
  • Assist with copy and messaging associated with office branding and décor.


Compensation and Benefits: 

  • $45,000 - $60,000
  • Access to the new technology in a Mac environment

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in English, Journalism, Public Relations, or Communications preferred
  • 2+ years of experience required
  • Portfolio required in link or PDF form
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Creative thinker, problem-solver, and storyteller
  • Highly motivated, driven, and detail-oriented
  • Well organized with an ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Sense of urgency in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback and criticism
  • Strong research skills that ensure all copy is correct and accurate
  • Passionate about writing and willing to learn from other creative professionals
