Staff Photographer

The Marketing Communications team is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Photographer to join our growing team. This individual must be able to capture photos in a creative, engaging way that speaks to our customers, recruits, and employees.
The Marketing Communications team is a group of highly creative individuals, including videographers, graphic designers, and content creators. It’s a fast paced, fun environment that challenges you to step outside your comfort zone.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Product, real estate, and event photography (product, home, and lifestyle)
- Assist in photo retouching and other post production requirements
- Upload and archive photos to server
- Research photo needs, schedule shoots, contact customers, purchase equipment
- Contribute and brainstorm on ways to improve our photographs and the merchandising of them to our primary constituents
- Pitch photo essays for quarterly internal magazine
- Participate in meetings for upcoming shoots
- Assist photographers with load in, set-up and breakdown
- Assist photographer when on set (lighting, directing)

Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Art, Journalism, Communications or related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Bridge
- 2-3 years of experience required
- Portfolio required with application
- Knowledge of basic studio lighting
- Experience with DSLR cameras
- Excellent communication skills and a talent for collaboration/team player
- An interest in current events, photojournalism and social media
- Positive attitude and ability to adapt to any situation
