ROLE DESCRIPTION

Agile Coach - Scrum Master

Power Home Remodeling is seeking an experienced Agile Coach - Scrum Master who will be responsible for 1:1 coaching, team coaching, and training. This role includes understanding Power and its unique organization when it comes to delivering Digital Solutions.

What You'll Do Here:

  • You will be a working Scrum Master, with the added responsibility of mentoring/coaching other Scrum Masters and Scrum teams.
  • You will be directly accountable for implementing Agile practices through hands-on mentoring of development teams.
  • You will help teams implement/improve Agile development approaches.
  • You will share wins and struggles with other Scrum Masters.
  • You will work with teams to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • You will act as a Facilitator, running Release Planning Sessions, Retrospectives, and training on a larger, program level scale.
  • You will be responsible for removing impediments both on a team and organizational level.
  • You will work directly with the producers and the product manager to take ideas from inception to delivery. You will keep those team members apprised of the incremental delivery of the objectives/stories that make up each initiative.
  • You will provide need-based coaching to team members.
  • You will remain at the leading-edge of Agile development practices and contribute to their spreading across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Must have knowledge, talent, and technology experience reflecting leadership capability.
  • Must have an excellent coaching personality and strong communication skills.
  • Must not only have a deep understanding of Agile principles, but also have the experience to take a pragmatic approach, adapting “by the book” Scrum to work for us.
  • Must have 3+ years experience in a large scale enterprise environment.
  • Must have experience working with C-level executives and business leaders.
  • Certifications as a Scrum Master, Scrum Coach, Scrum Product Owner, and any other certifications in the Agile/Scrum arena are greatly preferred.
  • Should have Agile Coaching experience and experience as a Scrum Master/Kanban practitioner. Ideally, we are looking for someone who is an experienced consultant, having served as a guru/subject matter expert.
  • Should have proven experience building Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Prior experience working with remote and local development teams a plus.

This position is a full time, in-house position in our corporate headquarters located in Suburban Philadelphia on the Chester Waterfront.
