ROLE DESCRIPTION

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Social Media and Content Creation Intern

Power seeks to hire a creative, multi-disciplined and goal-oriented intern to assist with management of our social media channels and content creation efforts.

This individual will assist our Social Media Strategist in curating and creating content for Power’s social media channels, while assisting with the day to day operation of these channels.

The desired candidate should offer a working knowledge and varied skillset when utilizing programs commonly used to create content, specifically relating to video or multimedia content.
 
This individual should also have an intimate awareness and knowledge of the social space and the platforms that populate it, as they will be asked to assist with tracking and analyzing metrics and trends.

Ideal candidate will be able to work 24 hours per week.

Must have: 

  1. Contribute ideas and collaborate with creative team 
  2. Experience and skills creating content with Adobe Creative Suite
  3. Examples of past creative work / portfolio
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  5. Use of social platforms such as Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, etc. 
  6. Assist Social Media Strategist with administrative tasks 

Nice to have:

  1. Experience running social media campaigns
  2. Ability to track and analyze metrics and trends

Software/Programs

Must have:

  1. Experience and skills creating content with Adobe Creative Suite

Nice to Have:

  1. Social media management platforms such as Hootsuite or Facebook publishing tools
  2. Social/digital analytics such as Google Analytics or Facebook Insights 

Compensation:

$12.50 per hour
